How to Greet our Mothers on Mothers' Day in Tagalog

Mothers' Day is celebrated during the second Sunday of May annually.  During this day, we honor our mothers.  The only person who can love us unconditionally.  Mothers are the most self-sacrificing person on earth.  They will try to provide us everything we need just so we would be comfortable and not suffer of anything.  Mothers are willing to give their lives or fight anybody just to protect their offspring.  This is not true only in the human world but also in the animal world.

Here are some useful vocabulary we can use as we celebrate this meaningful day with our mothers.

In Tagalog, we call our mothers:

Ina

Inay

Mama

Mommy

In alternative language, we call her, ermats,  mudra, mudrakels.
